Bridle Butt (J&FJ Baker)

This bridle butt leather is my preferred leather for belts and collars. It's produced by the only remaining oak bark tannery in the UK: J&FJ Baker. The process involves many hours of labour intensive work and it takes over a year to produce a hide. This not only makes it extremely beautiful, but also provides it with superior tensile strength that ensures a leather that is as hardwearing as it is unique.
